Terribly sorry I haven't posted in a while, but today I am going to be reviewing the Adovia Moisturizing Day Cream.  If you have read some of my previous posts you will know that I have been using the Formula 10.0.6 Seriously Shine Free Moisturizer as my day time moisturizer for several months now and I do still love it.  However, I tried this Moisturizing Day Cream form Adovia and I have to say that it will keep me just as shine free throughout the day.

The packaging of this cream is wonderful.  It comes in a thick frosted glass container that has the look of a much more high end product but you can pick it up for $25.95 from Amazon! The cream itself is extremely thick and really you don't need much to cover your face and neck so it's well worth the price.

The company says that the cream contains natural oils and aloe vera that will provide your skin with a deep hydration that truly lasts all day.  Also they say that the product contains an active complex of Dead Sea Minerals from Dead Sea Salt that will provide a natural moisture balance.  Also they say that the product is fast absorbing and non-greasy.


I will say that I love that this cream doesn't have a heavy scent to it unlike the Formula 10.0.6 Seriously Shine Free Moisturizer which has a scent that is quite off putting.  I feel that the cream really does provide the right amount of moisture for my skin while keeping it balanced enough that it doesn't over produce oil through the day.  Now once again if you are new to the blog, I have oily acne prone skin and it has truly been a struggle for me to find the right moisturizers for me to use that don't cause my skin to become an oil slick during the day.  Not only do I have oily skin, but I also live in the south where during the summer months it is so humid you could cut the air with a knife so any product that can help my makeup stay on through the day without making it overly shiny is something for me to keep in mind.
