Studio Gear Holiday Smoky Eye Palette

by - November 26, 2013

Good Morning everyone!

Snow is in the forecast for my area today, and gosh people are going nuts.  Just like every other time snow is predicted in the South right?  Anyway since I'm staying in and keeping warm today, I thought I would bring you this post about the Studio Gear Holiday Smoky Eye Palette that I received in the mail over the weekend.

I thought I would wait a couple days to share it with you since I wanted to go ahead and give an honest opinion of the product.  And let me tell you I love it! When I first opened it my thought was "oh no these are so frosted and I'm going to look crazy!" but honestly while they are frosted, it's still wearable.   In the picture above I used all of the shadows how the palette shows, but earlier in the day I was just wearing the shade Glimmer all over with Coal in the crease, and it lasted all day.

As you can see the palette comes with a handy step by step look (which is the one I used for the above picture).  The colors are great for the holidays, and the blush is perfect for me.  I had been searching for a blush that would be a good color for me for a while, and this one works.  It comes off as a light glow (best way I can describe this is like you were out in the cold for a while, and your cheeks get rosy).

Palette colors: top left Frost, top right Coal, center Snowy Glow (blush), bottom left Platinum, bottom right Glimmer.

The palette also states that glimmer can be used to highlight down the nose, and on the cupid's bow of the lips.  Just a note I used Urban Decay's Primer Potion for my primer yesterday when I wore the product, and I had no creasing, and everything stayed exactly how it was applied that morning.

From top to bottom:  Coal, Glimmer, Snowy Glow (Blush), Platinum, and Frost.

If you wish to purchase the palette, visit StudioGearCosmetics.com and be sure to use the code SGHOLIDAY for 10% off!

The product will retail for $40, but you can buy it now for $25 and it is well worth it!

I hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving!  Stay safe and stay warm today!

Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?  If so, let me hear them!  My family typically just spends all day Thanksgiving day watching the football games and eating way too much!
