Happy Saturday everyone!

As promised I am bringing you a simple Fall makeup look that you can wear every day.  I decided to pair a simple neutral eye look with a red lip that I find myself reaching for every time the weather turns cooler.

Hey guys!

I have a review for you today.  This one is from a company called Exuviance which has all kinds of skin treatments and a little bit of makeup.  Exuviance skin care is clinically proven to reduce lines and wrinkles, increase firmness, smooth texture and even skin tone.  Also the company claims to provide full strength anti-aging benefits without any irritation to the skin.

Hey guys!

January has officially passed, well I'm a few days late but that's ok.

As for products mentioned in this video, I tried to keep everything to things I truly used during the month of January.  I hope you guys enjoy the video!

Hey guys!

I have another haul video to share with you today.  I decided I was going to split the haul videos up since there was enough that just came from Ulta.

Happy Thursday everyone!

So I know that these at home gel polish kits have become a huge hit lately, and honestly I wanted to try one myself but I could never convince myself to pay the $70 price tag for the Sally Hansen starter kit or the $60 Sensationail starter kit.  Up until last week.  I was browsing the makeup side of Wal-Mart and found this little jewel.

This is the Fuse Gelnamel starter kit by Sensationail.  I haven't really seen any reviews on this yet, so my assumption is it is a fairly new product.  One downfall I immediately saw with the product is the limited number of color options for the starter kit, but you can't ask much since it is half of the price of the larger versions at only $25.

As you can see it comes with the cord, the USB adapter, the lamp, some cleanser, the polish, a buffer, a manicure stick, and some wipes.  Overall this product is so simple to use, but really buff your nail before you put the polish on (trust me here) then cleanse it, you can either use the cleanser included or use some isopropyl alcohol either will work.  Next push back your cuticles then go for it, put the polish on carefully wipe off the excess from around your nail and put in the lamp.  There is a button on the top of the lamp that will turn it on for 30 seconds.  I did two coats of the polish and it is holding up pretty well.  After the second coat take the wipe with the cleanser, or the isopropyl alcohol and wipe the nail off.  I know it sounds crazy, but there is a tacky finish on top of the nail at this point and you just need to wipe it off.  It won't hurt the color or anything and that's it your nails are done!

The first two times I used the product, I didn't really know how to use it and it peeled off.  I am assuming it was because I didn't buff the nail before I put the polish on so it didn't really adhere to my nail.  I also didn't wipe the tacky finish off and I wasn't sure why my nails wouldn't dry, so be sure to wipe this off or it will take forever.

It's a really pretty pink and certainly not as bright as I feared it would be when I first bought it.  Also on my updates of what has gone on in October....that rock on my finger it's new.  I got engaged at the beginning of October and I think he did a pretty good job on the ring.  It's so simple but it's really quite pretty and I love the two blue diamonds on either side.

Anyway moving back to this post...

The front small pot is Makeup Forever's Mat Velvet + in shade 25.  This stuff is actually pretty awesome, it covers well and it lasts all day for me.  My local Sephora store was out of the shade I needed when I went to buy it, which might be good for my wallet, so I was color matched and I was given a pretty good sized sample (two of these small pots which I have used every morning for about a week now).  If you wish to purchase it really isn't that unreasonable for a good foundation at only $36 from Sephora.

Next is Ulta's Double Duty foundation.  It's really a thick consistency and you can't blend it well with a sponge or even a brush, so you are just going to have to use your fingers if you use this foundation.  Overall, the coverage is wonderful with this product and it lasts all day long for me, but I feel like the only downfall is not being able to blend with a sponge.

Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser is the next product on my short review list here, and let me tell you I just don't like this product at all.  I originally bought it because I heard beauty bloggers raving about it (and I was out of my Garnier Anti-Dark Circle Eye Roller at $13).  I feel like the packaging isn't done well on this product, when you twist the cap to get the product to come to the top there is a lot left in the tube that just won't be used.  I also wasn't a huge fan of the sponge top on it either and on top of all of that it caked up and just didn't look good a few hours after I had applied it.  Honestly I just think that it covered well, but I'm not going to convert from my go to Garnier anytime soon.

Next up is a nifty little product, the L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid powder.  I absolutely love the packaging on this product.  It is so cute in a glass bottle, seriously glass bottle! When it comes out of the bottle it is a liquid form and when you begin to blend it in it turns powdery and it feels really light weight, and would be perfect for a hot summer day in the south.  I haven't used the product much, but I will give an update in a few weeks with some more thoughts on it.

Let me know what you guys think!  Have you tried any of these, if so what did you think?

Hey everyone!

I have decided to share a little about the things I normally reach for when I do my makeup in the morning, so here you go!

The very first thing I reach for is #1.  Ulta Double Duty Primer and Foundation in Light Ivory.  This stuff is so awesome honestly.  I had been looking for a decent foundation hat would be able to hold up in this hot Southern weather, and let me tell you this does! The best thing about it is it is only $12 total steal.

The next thing I reach for is #2.  Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark-Circle Roller for under my eyes this stuff is amazing, this is my second one of these things and they last forever.   Next is #3. NYX Above & Beyond Full Coverage Concealer to cover any little red spots I have after everything else.  This stuff is pretty cheap and I really love it (you can see more in my Ulta Haul).  Last on the base part of my routine is #4.  Physicians Formula Youthful Wear in Creamy Natural.  Honestly I went through one of these already this summer and I prefer the NYX Stay Matte Powder but Ulta is on the other side of town and not very convenient.  But the Physicians Formula can be found at Wal-Mart and other various retailers.

Next is #5 Wet n' Wild Coloricon Bronzer in Bikini Contest and to be honest this stuff still scares me I feel like it is way too dark sometimes, but it was $3 and worth a shot.  Generally I get some on a brush and then tap it off a little on the sink before I put it on my face (no need to look crazy).  #6. is L'oreal True Match Blush in Precious Peach.  I put this on with a smaller blush brush because it is pretty light, but it gives a nice hint of color.

#7. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Original.  I originally didn't want to buy this stuff just because it is $20 for the tube and I just couldn't convince myself it was worth it.  But one of the ladies at Ulta said she had bought it about 4 months prior and she had barely gone through any and it is so true!  I bought my tube in January and I still have at least half of it left.  You only need a tiny tiny bit for it, and it keeps the eyeshadow put! I had always had a terrible problem with creasing, so take it from me I had tried everything!

Next is #8.  NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in Blonde more of that is in the Ulta Haul as well.  #9. is my Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette (I will come back to this in just a moment).  #10 is a Wet n' Wild Coloricon eye liner in Black this stuff is amazing for only a $1 it won't break the bank!   It is creamy and lasts forever.  #11 is CoverGirl LashBlast 24hr in Very Black this stuff is really great too, and I use it every single day.  #12 is the Maybelline Color Whisper lipstick in Go Nude, I am not really crazy about this stuff, the color just doesn't wow me but it is very smooth and I  do love it as just something on the lips.  #13 is  Sugar Lip Treatment in just the original,  this stuff I got as a birthday gift from Sephora, and I love it (once I figured out how to open it).

One last thing that I have recently added to my collection is a L'oreal Carbon Black Liquid Liner.  I was always very scared of liquid, but this stuff stays like nobody's business, and I love it in this hot summer heat.  No more worries of running makeup!

Ok, as promised back to the Naked 2 Palette!

I know a ton has already been said about this jewel all over the internet, but I reach for this thing every single day.  I got it for Christmas this year (really everyone in my family got one from my Step-Mom how awesome is that!)  The colors are so rich and I really tend to go for browns anyway just to keep a more natural look.

I can't say I use the brush that is included in the package ever, but it's not a terrible brush.

From left to right:  Foxy, Half-Baked, Bootycall, Chopper

From left to right:  Tease, Snakebite, Suspect, Pistol

From left to right: Verve, YDK, Busted, Blackout

My most commonly used shade (on a lazy day the only shade) is Tease.  Tease can look a little bit like a bruise, but I like it because its not overly shimmery.  But on a day that I feel like doing something cool I use Tease as a base, Foxy in the inner corners, Bootycall as a highlight under the brow, Busted on the outer corner, Half-Baked or Chopper in the center to lighten it up a bit, and finally Blackout on the lower lashes as a liner.

Y'all have a great day!

Hello and happy Thursday!

A few days ago I made a little visit to Ulta Beauty.  If you haven't been to the store it is an absolute joy because there is such a variety of things there.  They have all the drug store makeup brands all the way up to your high end brands.  Honestly every time I wind up in the store I spend hours in there, and I even look at the higher end brands but I always seem to go back to the NYX brand.

Enough of my babbling and on to what I bought!

Starting at the top with the little pot is NYX Concealer in Fair which retails for $4.99.  It is a full coverage concealer that is supposed to be light weight and crease free.  I have been using it for the last couple days just on my blemishes and it has a really nice coverage for me.

The next item is NYX Blush in Peach retail $5.99.  Now I am going to say I was looking for a blush that would be a little pink, I really don't know why they named this one Peach because (to me) pink does not equal peach.  When I got home this was the first thing that got opened and when I swatched it with my finger I got scared, it was just so so pink! But I decided to use it anyway and I put it on with the smaller blush brush I have and it was so pink on my cheeks too.  The next morning I used a larger, fluffier brush on it and things turned out just fine.

This is the picture of the swatch of the blush just using my finger, in my opinion the color pay off is great.

The brush to the left (with the brown bristles) is the more fluffy brush that I use for blushes that are very pigmented, and the one on the left is an e.l.f. Blush Brush that I purchased at Target for $3.

Next is NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in Blonde retail $5.99.  This is the first eyebrow powder I have ever purchased, so I can't really compare to others.  But one thing I like about it is how the palette comes with gel, and two brushes. The small angled brush that is included in the palette I use for the gel, the spiral brush I use to tame my beast eyebrows (I really need to take the time to fix them), and I use the brow brush that I got the same day (in the group of purple brushes).

The lipstick in the picture is NYX Matte Lipstick in Perfect Red retail $5.99.  I previously purchased two other colors from this collection called Nude and Tea Rose.  I find myself reaching for the Tea Rose color quite often.  I have found that it wears quite well, and stays on for quite a while, and I really love the matte color of it just because I tend to get rater oily as the day wears on, and if I wound up with shine everywhere that would just look bad (am I right or am I right?!).

From top to bottom:  Perfect Red, Tea Rose, Nude.

Top: Clinique Chubby Stick in Pudgy Peony, Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stain in Honey
Lipsticks left to right: Nude, Tea Rose, Perfect Red

The next item I purchased was Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in the color Honey retail $8.99.  I have been wanting to try this item for a long time because for Christmas my sister sent me the Clinique Chubby Stick in Pudgy Peony and I found that I loved this concept.  Extremely easy to put on, it feels nice and it wears well.  The Revlon Just Bitten formula is a great product as well.  In my opinion it goes on just the same as the Clinique version.

Top to bottom: Pudgy Peony, Honey

The last items purchased was a set of eye brushes from Real Techniques for $17.99.

Ya'll have a great night!
