Insta Natural Rosehip Oil and Deep Cleansing Facial Oil Review

by - September 27, 2014

Hey guys!

Happy Saturday to all of you!  Today I am bringing you a review of the Insta Natural Deep Cleansing Facial Oil and the Pure Rosehip Seed Oil.   Now I have to start this off by saying that I am an oily monster so the thought of putting oils on my face really turns me off.  However, I really enjoy the Deep Cleansing Facial Oil.

The directions for the cleansing oil are fairly simple, just pump the oil onto a cotton round and apply to the face then rinse with warm water.  For me it really breaks down my foundation and other makeup on my face without leaving a greasy mess behind.   However, it also claims to take off eye makeup, and while I found that it took off my shadows and most of my eye liner it just didn't really take off my mascara so I still have to use an eye makeup remover to do that job.   Also I found that it works much better for me to just skip the cotton round and use my hands.

The scent of the oil itself is a little off putting to me, but I can certainly handle it since it breaks down my foundation well.  Besides the scent doesn't linger.  The company claims that it is a gentle non-abrasive face wash that won't strip your skin of its natural oils and I really believe that this would be a wonderful product for people with sensitive skin.   Overall the product works well for me, but if I have a full face of heavy makeup on I still tend to reach for a different makeup remover.

As for the Pure Rosehip Seed Oil, the company claims that the product can be used on the hair, the skin, or the nails.  There is only one ingredient in the product, yes you heard that right.  One ingredient!  The company says that the product can diminish the appearance of marks even very old ones.   These marks include stretch marks, surgical scars, or even burn marks.   If the product is used in the hair, the company claims that the product will provide shinier softer hair.  And if you use it on the nails, it will prevent peeling and cracking of the nails.

To be honest I have only used this product a few times on my elbows where I get really dry patches.  The product seemed to really moisturize that dry skin; however, I can honestly say that I will not put it on my face.  I don't like the scent so I don't want to put it near my nose.   I also have such oily skin that this product would just be too much for me.  However, if you have dry or even normal skin it would be a great night moisturizer!

The Insta Natural Deep Cleansing Facial Oil Cleanser can be found on Amazon for $20 and the Insta Natura Pure Rosehip Seed Oil can be found for $22.   Both are a great value!

  1. Shame that the rosehip oil smells bad! I have one from another company that has no scent and I love it - great for natural anti-aging!
