Fairmount Beauty

Hey guys!

I hope you have had a great Tuesday!  Today I am reviewing the Dr. Song Lactic Acid Peel.   This is a 50% Lactic Acid peel and be warned that it is intense!  This is an incredibly quick peel as well so if you don't have much time this is for you.

As for the instructions from Dr. Song Medical, cleanse your face as usual and pat dry.  After your skin is clean and dry apply a small amount of the product with a brush or a cotton ball.  I applied mine with a flat foundation brush.  Be sure to stay at least a quarter inch away from mucus membranes and your eyes.  For the first peel they suggest to leave the product on for only a minute; however, if irritation occurs immediately neutralize with cool water.  You will feel a slight stinging sensation while the product is on so don't be alarmed; however, if it is too much or too intense wash it off!   As a last note the company states to only use the peel once in a seven day period.

The product itself has no detectable scent and it comes in a glass bottle with a dropper in it.  Upon my first use I applied a small amount to my wrist to check for irritation and didn't have any so I proceeded to apply it to my face in a thin layer.  I left it on for a minute and washed off with cool water.  I did notice for the rest of the day and the next day my skin was red and irritated from the product; however, it was smooth and my makeup applied smoothly.

The bottle contains 1 oz of product and the company claims that there are 15 to 20 full facials in the bottle.  Again I want to stress that Dr. Song Medical says to only use the peel once in a seven day period and they suggest to only use it once every two to four weeks.

You can purchase the Dr. Song Lactic Acid Peel from Amazon for $14.99.

Hey guys!

Today I have another review for you.  I have been using the Dr. Song Vitamin C Serum for about a week now.  This product is different than the last vitamin C serum that I reviewed in the fact that it is boosted with vitamin E, hyaluronic acid, and aloe vera.  The serum itself is clear and thin compared to the Valentia Even Glow Serum that I previously reviewed.  Also this serum has more of a fruity scent to it compared to the previous one which smelled like oranges.

The packaging is the same style as the Valentia serum which I like.  The dropper allows you to measure out just how much to put on your face.  I only apply the serum once a day before I go to bed and I have noticed that it doesn't leave my skin feeling sticking once it absorbs.   I put 5 to 6 drops on my face and I follow up with my moisturizer after it absorbs.

I feel that my skin has has become a little brighter, smoother, and more even.  And some of my darker acne scars have faded.  The best part? The Dr. Song Vitamin C Serum is on sale on Amazon for only $9.99!
