Panning A-Z Update 1 | 2020 Panning Project
Hey loves!
This update is definitely coming much later than I wanted it to, but a we all know life just gets in the way from time to time. With that being said I am here to update my a-z project pan which is a pantastic ladies project that started January 1 and runs through the end of the year. If you saw my last post you know all 26 products I started this project with. I won’t be updating every single product in this project, just the finished products and the products that have been worked on since the intro.
Body Shop Bronzer |
The first product is the Body Shop bronzer. Since the intro I repressed the bronzer and then finished it a few days ago.
Next is the Maybelline Dr Rescue Baby Lips. I finished this lip balm at the end of January since there was only a small bit of product left in the tube and and have moved on to a potted balm.
The Hard Candy coconut primer stick is finally gone! This stick had a bit of a cooling effect, but overall I really wasn’t a big fan. It was hanging around in my collection for a really long time and I am glad it is gone. It didn’t really act as a primer nor did I feel like it added any moisture to the skin.
Dr. Brandt Primer |
The Dr. Brandt Luminizer Primer is also gone. This primer was ok. It definitely didn’t provide any luminosity nor did it help with pores. This was a full sized primer that I got I a BoxyCharm box and just wanted to have done. Honestly I haven’t really found a primer that I am in love with, so I am on a mission to use up the ones I have in my collection.
The Milk Blur stick (travel size) is also gone. Thee were only a few applications left in the tube so it was quick to use up. This primer helped a bit with pores but it just isn’t worth the price.
The last product finished since the intro is the Beauty for real shadow stx. Much like the Milk primer there were only a few uses left, so this one was quick to go as well.
ABH Single - comfort |
As for products I have used since the intro, the ABH single in a Comfort has pan in it, and I really want to expand the pan a bit more before I consider my goal met. I have put this eyeshadow to the side to focus on some others that are in this project, but I will get back to it soon enough.
The next product I have used every day is the Rimmel Kate lipstick in 08. This lipstick used to by my daily go to cream lipstick, but now I feel like it pulls way too warm on me. In order to use it up, I have focused on using it every day, but mixing with various lipsticks in my collection.
Rimmel Kate Lipstick |
Becca Liquid Opal highlighter is still hanging around as well. Since the intro to this project, I have taken the stopper out of the tube, and set it upright on my vanity so the product would settle. After I took the stopper out the product was about half way down the bottle, and now its well under that.
Next is the NYC Union Square Quad (the 3 neutral shades). Since the last update I have nearly finished the cream shadow, and I have decent pan in the two brown shadows. My plan is to completely use up the cream shadow and then put this palette to the side, so I can work on some others from this project.
NYC Union Square Palette |
Next are the two loose powders I am working on in this project. Lace and Ghost loose powders from Makeup Revolution. Lace (colored) powder is steadily working its way down, but the color of this powder is just a bit strange for my skin tone, so I like to mix it with Ghost, or any translucent white powder to knock it down some. Of the two powders, Ghost has the most use on it, but I am working my way through Lace.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Moisturizer has very little use on it, and I can’t really show any progress on it because I started using it in the last week.
I also can’t really show the progress of the Wander Beauty eye pencil that I have been working on. I didn't take a photo at the intro, but I feel like I have made decent progress. I briefly rolled it up a few days ago and there isn’t much left in the pencil, but I have a feeling it’s going to take a while to finish up.
Wander Beauty Eye Pencil |
The final product with progress since the last update is YDK from the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. This shadow had pan before the project started; however, I have managed to clear out the top half of the pan. The shadow is pretty thin in the middle part of the pan so I should be able to clear out quite a bit of it by the next update.
Some goals for my next update are to have at least half of the Wander eye pencil left, the cream shadow from the NYC palette finished, and progress on the other products I have going in the project. I want to have some progress on the ABH Java bronzer that I am rolling into the project as well.
I’ll see you guys next month for the next update to this project! Let me know below if you are working on any fun project pans this year!
All the love,
Pam
